Assist with instruction and activities for individuals or groups as assigned by the teacher; supervise students in instructional settings, off-campus activities, and during non-instructional times (recess, assemblies, lunch, drills); prepare, create, or adapt instructional materials and teaching aids; assist students with assignments and with personal care needs as needed; help supervise substitute teachers; support behavior management and communicate student needs to the teacher; grade student work, take attendance, and complete necessary records; operate classroom equipment, photocopier, laminator, and other instructional tools; assist with obtaining supplies and preparing weekly folders for parents; maintain confidentiality and assist with safety and classroom organization; may assist with minor first aid and bus loading; perform other duties as assigned.
