26-27 ISS Instructional Paraprofessional

Provide instructional assistance to students under the direct supervision of a certified teacher by preparing, conducting, and managing classroom activities. Assist in instructing reading, writing, and mathematics while working with individual students or small groups. Support the teacher by preparing instructional materials, administering objective testing instruments, maintaining classroom order, and managing inventory. Supervise students throughout the school day, including lunchroom, bus, and playground duties, while reporting special needs to staff. Maintain administrative records, prepare required reports, and assist substitute teachers with orientation. Participate in staff development training, faculty meetings, and special events as assigned, adhering to district safety protocols and emergency procedures.
