Job Summary
Elementary School Teacher responsibilities include implementing the Bright Star curriculum maps and California standards, differentiating lesson plans for diverse learners, collaborating with school leaders, engaging in professional development, maintaining a positive classroom environment, conducting family conferences, managing attendance, and supporting inclusive, culturally responsive instruction. Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree, California Multiple Subject Credential (intern credential considered), EL/Bilingual/CLAD/BCC credentials, 2 years urban teaching experience preferred, bilingual desirable. Must meet TK credentialing requirements per EC 48000(g)(4) (24 units in ECE/CD or equivalent experience or applicable credential). Working conditions reflect indoor school environment with potential routine travel for meetings. Salary is based on experience; position is full-time and 11-month exempt with benefits including coaching, induction support, and categorical programs.
