Job Summary
Maintain, repair, and install heating and air conditioning systems and equipment across district facilities under general supervision. Diagnose and repair malfunctions; install new HVAC systems and components; relocate/expand existing systems; fabricate, assemble, and install duct work and piping per code; connect motors, compressors, and temperature/humidity controls; maintain preventive maintenance schedules; perform duct cleaning and air quality testing; receive work orders, estimate material and labor, and maintain records; inspect completed work for cleanliness and safety; assist energy manager with energy conservation surveys; respond to emergency calls; follow safety procedures and operate tools safely. Requires a high school diploma or GED and a valid Texas driver’s license; experience in the HVAC field; knowledge of HVAC repairs, maintenance, installation techniques, EMS and HVAC control systems; ability to read blueprints/diagrams/schematics and perform mathematical calculations.
Required Qualifications

- Knowledge of EMS and HVAC Control Systems
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, diagrams, schematics, and written reference material
