Job Summary
Coaches student athletes in the area of assigned responsibility and organizes and supervises the total girls soccer program. Maintains a high level of ethical behavior and confidentiality and establishes good rapport with students, employees, community members, and vendors while performing other duty assignments as needed.
Required Qualifications
- Valid Arizona teacher certification, or Arizona coaching certification, or Level 1 Certification issued by NFHS (This requirement is only for Head/Varsity positions)
- Previous successful coaching experience in the assigned sport
- AZ Identity Verified Prints (AZ IVP FPCC) fingerprint clearance
- First Aid/CPR certification
- NFHS Fundamentals of Coaching Course
- NFHS Heat Illness Prevention Course
- NFHS Concussion in Sports
- NFHS Cheer & Dance Safety Certificate (this requirement is for cheer positions only)
- NFHS Cheer & Dance Exam (this requirement is for cheer positions only)
- Knowledge of safety principles and equipment
- Customer service and communication skills
- Proficiency with relevant computer software
