Job Summary
Provide instruction, leadership and supervision to middle school student-athletes in a after-school/evening girls soccer program; responsibilities include planning practices emphasizing teamwork and skill development, academic monitoring with teachers and counselors, ensuring attendance at study halls, supervising students before/during/after practices and games, maintaining equipment/inventory, upholding high standards of sportsmanship and ethics, completing paperwork (rosters, physicals, insurance, parent consent), collaborating with the Principal to sustain a solid program, pursuing professional growth through clinics/publications, overseeing player development, fundraising, program promotion, and supervising an assistant coach; requires a four-year degree and coaching experience, NFHS/MSHAA courses, and knowledge of collegiate eligibility regulations; preferred to be employed as a teacher or administrator in the applying district.
