Build leadership among staff and administration to foster shared ownership of the school's vision and purpose. Make core content engaging by aligning instruction with common core standards, essential standards, and 21st-century literacy skills including global awareness, financial literacy, and ICT. Teach existing content while integrating technology and facilitating diverse instructional methods to support critical thinking and problem-solving. Assess student learning, encourage teamwork, and collaborate with families and significant adults to adapt teaching for students with special needs. Demonstrate ethical principles of honesty, integrity, and respect while serving as a role model for continuous quality improvement. Perform other duties as assigned.
