EC Teacher leads students in a content-rich program aligned to the Common Core and 21st-century standards, incorporating global awareness, financial, economic, business, entrepreneurial literacy, civic literacy, and health literacy. Responsibilities include making content engaging and relevant, integrating ICT and technology in instruction, assessing student learning with diverse methods, collaborating with families and staff to support students with special needs, modeling ethical professional conduct, and contributing as a team player to continuous quality improvement. Requires current NC teaching license or applicable certification and the ability to communicate effectively with parents, staff, and the community.
