Job Summary
EC Case Teacher with a BS/BA in Special Education and a valid NC EC teaching license leads data management, coordinates IEPs and related meetings, screens referrals, ensures 90-day timelines, collaborates with school psychologists and related services, maintains IEP paperwork and compliance, and supports transition planning and staff development within the EC program.
Required Qualifications
- BS/BA degree from accredited institution
- License in Special Education
- Three or more years experience as an EC teacher (preferred)
- Specialized training in compliance, regulations, and special education law
- Writing and speaking skills
- Understanding of instructional implications of test data
- Exemplary leadership and interpersonal skills
- Exemplary organizational skills
- Computer/typing skills
- Legible copies of official transcripts and NC Teaching License in EC area (not initial or residency)
