Make content engaging by aligning instruction with common core standards and 21st-century skills including global awareness, financial literacy, and civic engagement. Teach revised core content emphasizing critical thinking, problem-solving, and ICT literacy while facilitating instruction through varied methods and technology integration. Assess student learning and foster teamwork to develop leadership qualities. Collaborate with families and adapt teaching for students with special needs while demonstrating ethical principles and organizational core values. Requires NC teaching certification, a four-year degree, and completion of a background check.
