Assist the teacher with planning, organizing, and evaluating instructional activities; developing classroom procedures; preparing necessary materials; and presenting instructional activities as directed. Participate in activities to improve the total school program and assist in ensuring a safe and healthful environment. Maintain cleanliness and neatness while conducting yourself as a positive role model. Perform duties that include physically assisting students with motor activities, lifting and transferring students to wheelchairs or buses, feeding students who cannot feed themselves, and providing personal hygiene support. Visually track and supervise movements of children while reading IEPs and other printed material. Obtain a Commercial Driver's License when requested for driving a school bus and provide CPR when necessary.
