Job Summary
Assist the teacher with planning, organizing, and evaluating instructional activities; support students in confidence, self-esteem and independence; attend to physical and personal care needs; assist students with communication; support students in social activities; develop relationships with children, parents, and professionals; maintain confidentiality; participate in staff development; serve as a team player and contribute to continuous quality improvement; perform other duties as assigned; physical tasks include assisting with mobility, feeding, hygiene, and CPR/First Aid; background check required.
Required Qualifications
- A minimum of 24+ college level semester hours completed along with the approved Work Keys Assessments (see below) or at least 48 semester hours of College Level Coursework
- Work Keys Assessments with passing scores in Workplace Documents (Reading) - Score of 4 or better, Business Writing - Score of 3 or better, and Applied Mathematics- Score of 4 or better
