Job Summary
Custodian I (12 months) role at a school site. Performs recurring cleaning tasks under direct supervision, including heavy duties such as stripping, sweeping, scrubbing, mopping, waxing, and spray buffing; moves furniture and equipment; cleans windows, dusts, vacuums, restrooms, and fixtures; replenishes supplies; reports damages; may perform grass cutting and grounds care; attends seminars and training to improve efficiency; must obtain and maintain CDL bus license and drive a bus when required; physical ability to lift and move heavy objects; standard safety and school-regulation compliance; team-oriented with strong emphasis on cleanliness and customer service.
Required Qualifications
- Must obtain and maintain a CDL Bus license and drive a bus when called upon to do so.
- Background check with local and state law enforcement agencies required.
- Must possess a valid North Carolina Driver's License.
- Applicants must be able to obtain a Commercial Driver's License (CDL) when requested for purposes of driving a school bus.
