Custodian I (75%) performs cleaning tasks in school buildings under direct supervision, including heavier cleaning such as stripping, scrubbing, mopping, waxing, and spray buffing; moves and arranges furniture; cleans windows, sills, woodwork, vacuums, and restrooms; replenishes supplies and reports damages; may perform grass cutting and grounds care; attends trainings and completes required safety and compliance activities; must obtain and maintain a Commercial Driver's License (CDL) and drive a bus when required; physical ability to perform medium/heavy lifting and climbing; background check required; NC driver’s license required; CDL required when requested for bus duties; reports to Custodial Supervisor and adheres to school mission and safety standards.
