Job Summary
Custodian I responsible for daily cleaning tasks in school facilities under direct supervision, including stripping/scrubbing/mopping/waxing floors, window cleaning, dusting, vacuuming, restroom upkeep, and light fixture maintenance. Performs routine maintenance and reports damages; supports grass cutting and grounds care; cleans bus interiors and adheres to sanitation standards. Requires ability to drive a bus when called upon and obtain/maintain a CDL bus license; must pass background checks and comply with safety regulations. Physically capable of lifting up to 100 pounds occasionally and traveling as needed; attends trainings to improve job efficiency and skills. Located in Fayetteville, NC with in-person work expectations. FLSA: Non-Exempt.
Required Qualifications
- CDL Bus license (or ability to obtain)
- Valid North Carolina Driver's License
- Background check with local and state law enforcement agencies
- Commercial Driver's License (CDL) when requested for driving a school bus
