- Completes pre-trip and post-trip inspection
- Drives a bus when called upon to do so while maintaining proficiency in driving skills
- Maintains bus route schedule
- Maintains discipline and reports undisciplined students to school administration
- Cleans the interior of the bus
- Background check with local and state law enforcement agencies required
- Must possess a valid North Carolina Driver's License
- Applicants must be able to obtain a Commercial Driver's License (CDL) when requested
