Custodian I position for a 10-month term (25% FTE) performing routine cleaning and related duties in school facilities under direct supervision. Responsibilities include cleaning floors, windows, restrooms, dusting, scrubbing, mopping, waxing, and light maintenance tasks; operating and maintaining cleanliness per schedules; reporting damages; assisting with grounds care and bus maintenance; maintaining bus cleanliness and safety; inspecting and supporting training activities; and complying with safety regulations. Requires ability to read and follow instructions, work with others, and possess physical strength; must obtain and maintain a CDL Bus license and drive a bus when required. Background check and valid NC driver’s license are required; CDL may be requested for bus driving.
