Job Summary
Career Academy Facilitator leads development and continuous improvement of Career Academies aligned to NAF standards, coordinating operations, strategic planning, and work-based learning experiences (internships, apprenticeships, mentoring, job shadowing). Serves as a liaison for workforce partnerships, helps develop youth apprenticeship and internship opportunities, sustains advisory boards and partnerships with business and industry, supports student CDPs and workplace readiness, guides teachers and staff with curriculum and resources, and analyzes program data to support accountability and continuous improvement. Requires a Bachelor’s degree, NC Professional Educator’s License, and license in a CTE area; background check and NC driver’s license are required.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or higher
- NC Professional Educator’s License
- Current license in any Career and Technical Education area preferred
Additional Requirements
- Background check with local and state law enforcement agencies required
- Must possess a valid North Carolina driver’s license
