Job Summary
Supervise the Girls' Basketball program with full leadership responsibility, including scheduling and overseeing practice sessions, contests, and travel. Instruct students in sport fundamentals while maintaining facilities and equipment, and ensure all athletes receive proper clearance and safety procedures. Manage assistant coaches, keep sport records, and submit an annual evaluation with improvement recommendations. Promote sportsmanship and fair play by setting a moral example, enforcing penalties, and respecting officials and opposing teams. Communicate with the media, attend district and league meetings, and submit a budget consistent with district procedures.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Hold a current and valid First Aid and CPR card
- Must be at least 21 years of age
Desired Qualifications
- Prior coaching experience preferred
