26/27 Assistant Track and Field Coach (East High School)

Assist with practices by emphasizing teamwork, skill development, rule learning, and student-athlete improvement. Engage in academic monitoring with teachers and counselors, while supervising student-athletes before, during, and after practices and contests in locker rooms, on busses, and at all other times. Assume responsibility for constant care of equipment and inventory, and follow through on required paperwork including rosters, physicals, and parent consent forms. Provide information for transportation, facilities, officials, and game management, conducting the team and self in an ethical manner to exemplify high standards of sportsmanship. Assist in program coordination and promote student athlete accomplishments academically and athletically. Continue professional growth through clinics and publications.
