Job Summary
Assists the lead teacher in elementary classroom activities, providing group and individualized instruction, preparing visual aids and materials, proctoring testing and scoring as instructed, tracking attendance and student progress, and communicating with teachers. Responsibilities include arranging classroom furnishings, maintaining health records, supervising student behavior, promoting positive behavior and citizenship, and driving a school bus when required after obtaining a CDL. Requires CDL bus license, ability to work with children, and the ability to follow detailed instructions and participate in workshops while supporting ongoing quality improvement and the school’s core values.
Required Qualifications
- Must obtain and maintain a CDL Bus license and drive a bus when called upon to do so.
- Working knowledge of effective methods of dealing with children.
- Ability to solve minor problems and follow detailed written and oral instructions.
