Job Summary
Assist teacher in the teaching-learning process for students by providing academic assistance, group instruction, and individualized support; supervise students and reinforce positive behavior; prepare instructional materials and arrange classroom furnishings; serve as proctor during testing and assist with health and attendance records; obtain and maintain a Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) and drive a bus when called upon; maintain bus route schedules and ensure safety and compliance with local and state regulations; collaborate with teachers and communicate student progress; support school values and participate in disciplinary and policy-related activities.

- CDL license must be obtained and maintained
- Background check with local and state law enforcement
- Must obtain CDL when requested for purposes of driving a school bus
- Ability to obtain and maintain CDL
- Working knowledge of methods for dealing with children
