Job Summary
Assist the classroom teacher in the K5 setting by providing group and individualized instruction, supervising students, organizing instructional materials, proctoring testing, recording attendance and health data, and supporting behavior management. Responsibilities include arranging furnishings and supplies, preparing visual aids, entering health and student data as required, and driving a school bus when needed after obtaining and maintaining a Commercial Driver's License (CDL). Collaboration with teachers, participation in workshops, and modeling caring, respectful behavior are expected. Must be able to communicate effectively with parents and school staff; background checks are required.
Required Qualifications
- All applicants must upload a resume and one of the following to qualify: College transcript showing a degree was earned; College transcript showing at least 48 or more college level courses completed; College transcript showing at least 24 or more college level courses completed plus WorkKeys Assessment with passing scores in Workplace Documents, Business Writing, and Applied Mathematics; Link to WorkKeys Assessments; Working knowledge of effective methods of dealing with children; Ability to solve minor problems and follow detailed written and oral instructions; Must obtain and maintain a CDL Bus license and drive a bus when called upon to do so.
