Job Summary
Assist teachers in the classroom by providing group and individualized instruction, supervising students, and supporting various instructional activities. Responsibilities include checking and correcting students’ work, reporting progress to teachers, organizing classroom materials, serving as proctor during testing, entering health and attendance records, and supporting behavior management. Requires driving a bus when needed, maintaining a CDL, and complying with safety regulations. Also emphasizes collaboration, professionalism, and alignment with organizational core values. Must obtain a CDL and pass background checks as specified.
Required Qualifications
- Resume and one of the following to qualify: college transcript showing a degree earned OR college transcript showing at least 48 or more college level courses OR college transcript showing at least 24 or more college level courses plus WorkKeys assessment with passing scores in Workplace Documents (4+), Business Writing (3+), and Applied Mathematics (4+)
- Working knowledge of effective methods of dealing with children
- Ability to solve minor problems and follow detailed written and oral instructions
- Must obtain and maintain a CDL Bus license and drive a bus when called upon to do so
