Job Summary
Coordinate the girls' tennis program in compliance with MSHSAA standards, supervising student-athletes at practices and contests while managing transportation, facilities, and game logistics. Assist in implementing athletic standards, organizing practice schedules to develop student potential, and ensuring safety and injury management protocols are followed. Conduct team activities with ethical sportsmanship and facilitate the systematic return of equipment. Complete required MSHSAA/NFHS courses, Sports First Aid training, and 8 hours of professional development including district and school meetings. Work seasonally as a full or part-time employee within the district.
Required Qualifications
- Must have a Teachers Certificate or valid Substitute Certificate or Temporary (provisional) Teacher's Certificate
- Must successfully complete the MSHSAA/NFHS Coaching Principles Course
- Must successfully complete Sports First Aid Courses
- Must fulfill 8 contact hours of professional development
- District level mtgs –4hrs
- School level mtgs - 3hrs
- Outside mtgs/Clinics –1hr
- be able to: sit, stand, walk, speak, hear, use hands, fingers, reach with hands and fingers
- be able to: bend, stoop, lift objects of at least 25 pounds

- Be a full or part-time employee in the District
- Employed in the school as a teacher or administrator in which the candidate applies for a position
