26-27 Anticipated 4th Grade Teacher

Anticipated 4th Grade Teacher at Founders Classical Academy-AR. Prepare effective lessons and instruction using classical traditional methods; administer formative and summative assessments to evaluate student progress and inform reporting to parents; provide academic interventions and maintain accurate student grades and parent communications via the school’s online tools. Maintain a well-disciplined, engaging classroom for approximately 20-27 students; collaborate with Special Education and 504 teams to implement accommodations; participate in faculty meetings, professional development, and school events. Responsibilities also include sponsoring activities or student organizations, assisting students in course selections, counseling on academic problems, and contributing to marketing/recruiting efforts as needed. Strong knowledge of classical education, curricular methods, and virtue-based instruction; excellent verbal and written communication skills; ability to travel for field trips and trainings as required.
