Job Summary
Tutor elementary students in reading using a scripted AERO curriculum; tutor a minimum of 20 students per semester with at least 4 sessions per week; internalize, plan and deliver AERO lessons in small-group tutoring; attend AERO training; maintain lesson plans, session notes, and progress reports; tailor lessons to meet individual student needs; administer and score benchmark assessments; collaborate with campus leaders and the Manager of Grant-Funded Intervention to provide progress reports; participate in research activities to evaluate program effectiveness; supervise students and foster positive relationships while managing behavior; engage in campus activities and adhere to campus norms; requires a high school diploma and at least 2 years of relevant experience; strong technology skills and ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma
- At least 2 years of relevant work experience
- Interest in working with students with reading difficulties
- Strong ability to navigate web-related applications and technology
- Openness to giving and receiving frequent feedback
