Job Summary
Teach 6th grade English and Social Studies; develop lesson plans aligned to the district curriculum goals and state standards; translate plans into engaging learning experiences; maintain classroom behavior standards; assess and document pupil progress; communicate with parents regarding progress; collaborate with other staff to address pupil needs; create an effective learning environment with displays and resources; participate in curriculum development and faculty committees; may coach or participate in extracurricular activities; adhere to district certification requirements and schedule; duties include preparing reports, administering standardized tests, and performing other duties as assigned by the supervisor.
