Job Summary
SE&V Project Engineer (NGMD) to lead system engineering development lifecycle activities focused on early-phase concepts, requirements, and design. Responsibilities include spearheading scheduling and deadlines, transforming stakeholder needs into technical approaches, MBSE-based modeling, interface development (ICDs/IDDs), performing reviews, creating and critiquing requirements and architectural documentation, and supporting Agile planning and status reporting. Requires an active DoD security clearance and offers flexible schedules including remote work; engagement with DoD and US defense customers on programs spanning missile defense and space defense domains.
Required Qualifications
- Active DoD security clearance
- Bachelor's degree with 5+ years experience or advanced degree with 3+ years
- Experience with MBSE approaches and tools (e.g. Cameo)
- Experience with Interface Control Documents (ICDs) and Interface Design Descriptions (IDDs)
- Knowledge of system requirements, verification documentation, architectural documentation
- Experience with Agile development planning and execution
- Ability to communicate with stakeholders and customers (e.g., MDA, NASA, DoD customers)
- Experience with concept development and requirement decomposition
- Ability to lead model development of physical and logical system models
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
