Job Summary
Build relationships and coach individuals with intellectual disabilities and mental health needs to increase their independence. Develop and implement personalized plans while maintaining a safe work environment by monitoring positive behavior support strategies and Non-Violent Crisis Intervention protocols. Plan and execute group and individual programming, keeping detailed notes to review client progress. Maintain a personal vehicle for business travel across homes and the community, adhering to a 35-hour weekly schedule.
Required Qualifications
- Valid driver's license
- Clear driver's abstract
- Personal car to use for business purposes
- Person-centered approach and advocacy
- Clear communication skills
- Take initiative and work with integrity
- Sound judgement and decision-making skills
- Physical ability to engage in a variety of home and community-based activities
