Job Summary
Provide integrated family-centered developmental services to children birth to three years old with identified diagnoses, delays, or risk of delay. Conduct home visits and outreach to assist families in identifying needs, accessing resources, and coordinating with additional services. Maintain accurate client files and documentation while engaging in ongoing learning regarding practice standards and community perspectives. Ensure a safe, welcoming environment by addressing discrimination and applying diversity, equity, and inclusion principles to daily work.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in psychology, education, child and youth care or another related discipline
- Valid Class 5 Driver's License
- Own vehicle
- Strong desire to continue to learn and advance developmental, assessment and service delivery skills
- Strong understanding and ability to provide community based, family centered services
- Ability to work within a collaborative, multidisciplinary team
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Excellent organization and time management skills
- Ability to provide trauma informed, culturally safe services to all clients, regardless of race, ethnicity or socioeconomic status
- Union Membership with HSA
