Job Summary
Infant Development Consultant provides integrated family-centered developmental services for birth-to-three clients, including assessment, treatment planning, home visits, and coordination with additional services within the IDP. The role requires a bachelor’s degree in psychology, education, or a related discipline, a valid Class 5 Driver’s License with own vehicle, and a trauma-informed, culturally safe approach. Strong verbal and written communication, organization, and collaboration within a multidisciplinary team are essential; ensures documentation is accurate and timely and promotes inclusive, nondiscriminatory practices. The position is temporary, 14 hours per week, located in Newton, BC.
Required Qualifications
- Holds a bachelor’s degree in psychology, education, child and youth care or another related discipline
- Holds a valid Class 5 Driver’s License and own vehicle
- UNION MEMBERSHIP WITH HSA IS REQUIRED
