Job Summary
This appointment requires a 15-credit-hour teaching load per semester in Accounting or Finance, with potential assignment to other college-level courses. Responsibilities include academic advising, committee service, program and course-level assessment, program support, effective use of learning management systems, student recruitment/retention, and professional development. Applicants should demonstrate effective use of technology in instructional delivery and be prepared to teach in all instructional modalities, including evening, weekend, hybrid, and/or online instruction. The role emphasizes participation in the college community and may involve other duties as assigned. The position is on-site at the Main Campus in Parkersburg, WV, with regular attendance and possible alternate hours or locations to support campus mission. Required Qualifications
- Master’s degree in business or accounting
- At least one of: (a) 18 semester hours of graduate credit in accounting or finance OR (b) at least 2 years of accounting work experience OR (c) CPA license
- Demonstrated use of advanced technology systems such as learning management systems
- Successful college-level teaching experience preferred
