Job Summary
Diagnose and resolve technical incidents for computers, network connectivity, conference equipment, and peripherals while supporting information security protocols. Maintain IT asset inventory, monitor network services and communications infrastructure, and document internal IT processes in accordance with the ITIL framework. Provide end-user support for Office 365 applications, web conferencing tools, and business applications. This internship offers compensation commensurate with the position and is located in Lima, Peru, for students in Systems Engineering, Information Technology, or related fields.
Required Qualifications
- Students in their final semesters or recent graduates in Systems Engineering, Information Technology, Computer Science, Telecommunications, or related fields
- Ranked in the upper third of their faculty
- Knowledge of the Windows operating system
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office 365 applications
- Knowledge of computer configuration
- Knowledge of troubleshooting
- Knowledge of teleconferencing applications (Teams, Zoom, etc.)
- Basic knowledge of information security concepts (malware, phishing, antivirus, etc.)
- Knowledge of data networking fundamentals
- Ability to provide support to on-site and remote end users
- Service-oriented mindset
- Strong interpersonal communication skills
- Teamwork skills
- Intermediate level of English proficiency
