Job Summary
Lead ECEAP liaison in the Marysville School District for the 2026-2027 school year. Plans and implements a developmentally appropriate classroom environment for preschool children (18 students) using ECEAP standards, collaborates with families, conducts home visits, and administers assessments (First Step, Language and Literacy, DECA) while maintaining student records and communicating progress via monthly newsletters. Partners with families to set educational goals and develops individual learning plans aligned with Decca standards. Requires collaboration with Family Service Providers, strong oral/written communication, ability to work as part of a team, and adherence to district policies. Requirements include high school diploma or equivalent and a BA (or AA) in Early Childhood Education with related experience, health and safety trainings, immunizations, fingerprint clearance, driver’s license, and ongoing compliance with district training.
Required Qualifications
- High School diploma or equivalent
- Bachelor of Arts degree in Early Childhood Education or related field and two years of experience in a related field OR Associate of Arts degree in Early Childhood Education and two years of experience in a related field
- Blood Borne Pathogen training
- Valid Washington State Health card (maintained for the duration of this job)
- 1st Aid & Adult/Child CPR training (completed within 30 days from date of hire and to be maintained for the duration of this job)
- Valid Washington State Driver’s License and evidence of mobility (maintained for the duration of this job)
- Experience and/or training with cultural, ethnic, and language diversity preferred
- Successful Washington State Patrol and Federal Bureau of Investigation Fingerprint Clearance
- Proof of Immunization (if born 1/1/57 or later)
- I-9 Employment Eligibility in compliance with the Immigration Reform and Control Act
- Completion of all district-required training within thirty (30) calendar days from hire date
