Job Summary
The City of Dover Fire & Rescue is seeking full-time Firefighter/AEMT candidates who will respond to emergencies and perform advanced medical care. Applicants must have relevant certifications and be able to work under physically demanding conditions.
Required Qualifications
- Valid vehicle operator’s license
- NH license as Emergency Medical Technician-Basic
- Nationally registered Emergency Medical Technician
- New Hampshire State Certified Firefighter Level II
Additional Requirements
- Must reside within sixty (60) minutes travel time from any of the three fire stations under normal driving conditions
- Candidates will be subjected to criminal and financial background checks
- Required to take and pass a physical exam after a conditional offer of employment, and annually thereafter
