Job Summary
Otolaryngologist sought for UPMC Hamot in Erie, PA. Responsibilities include diagnosing and treating ENT conditions (ear infections, hearing loss, sinusitis, allergies, voice disorders, sleep apnea), performing ENT surgeries (tonsillectomies, adenoidectomies, septoplasties, ear tube insertions), and teaching residents in UPMC Hamot's ACGME-accredited Otolaryngology residency program. Collaborate with two board-certified otolaryngologists and a board-eligible physician, participate in Epic EMR, maintain robust patient volume through the regional referral network, and provide call coverage (every fourth night and weekend). Includes opportunities for residency mentorship, a sign-on bonus, CME days, relocation benefits, PSLF eligibility, and comprehensive benefits. Immigration status considered: H-1B candidates accepted. Required Qualifications
- MD/DO from an accredited medical school
- Accredited ENT Residency Program completion
- American Board Eligible or American Board Certified in Otolaryngology
- Ability to obtain an unrestricted Pennsylvania Medical License and ability to obtain necessary credentials
- DEA certification
