Job Summary
Work 1:1 with clients in independent and group settings to implement individualized treatment plans and goals. Collect session data, submit documentation, and provide interactive therapeutic support to foster communication, social, and behavioral skills while minimizing maladaptive behaviors. Collaborate with the treatment team to increase positive behavioral outcomes and ensure all care aligns with division standards and policies. Post-training, candidates may receive permanent placements after a flexible training phase that exposes them to diverse learners and settings across schools, homes, and community environments. This role reports to NJ State and Regional Directors within a clinical team.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- RBT Credential
- 1 year minimum of working with children
- Comfortable with using technology for daily documentation
- Strong interpersonal and documentation skills
- Willingness to accept and implement feedback
- Ability to stand, bend, kneel and run during shift
Desired Qualifications
- 1 year of working in a direct care human services profession preferred
- Bachelor's degree in related field (Psychology, Social Work, Education)
