Job Summary
Oversee the day-to-day operational workflow of the Business Office, managing accounts receivables, student financials, data entries, invoicing, and T2202s. Complete student loan processing, create payment plans, deferrals, and handle outstanding balance collections while resolving non-routine administrative problems. Provide guidance and training on assigned functions as the main backup for front counter activity, including cash receipting and posting payments. Perform various financial analysis tasks and respond to general student account queries. Commencing September 1, 2026, this full-time role at NSCC's Lunenburg Campus reports to the Manager of Administrative Services. The position requires a post-secondary certificate in Business or Office Administration with three years of experience in a fast-paced office environment. Salary ranges from $47,189.45 to $53,580.19 annually.
Required Qualifications
- post-secondary certificate or diploma in Business or Administrative Professional/Office Administration
- minimum of three years (full-time equivalent) of recent and related occupational experience in a fast-paced office environment
- Demonstrated organizational, planning and time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines
- Demonstrated customer service experience with ability to communicate effectively and courteously within a diverse environment
- comfortable using computer applications such as the Microsoft Office Suite, E-mail, and have a strong, demonstrable knowledge of Excel, SharePoint and Microsoft Office 365
