Job Summary
Coordinate and manage a district youth development program, collaborating with school staff, health and human services agencies, community organizations, parents, and students to align resources for student and family success. Identify at‐risk students, provide individual/small group guidance in behavior and academics, track data patterns to develop personalized action plans, deliver interpersonal skills development to promote prosocial behavior, set goals and monitor progress, arrange group presentations by positive role models, maintain proactive home–school communications, share information on partnering agencies and enrichment opportunities, provide professional development to staff, and work collaboratively with colleagues to continuously improve program services. Maintain accurate documentation of interactions and ensure program operations meet official requirements; be prepared to perform additional duties as assigned and to comply with background checks and licensing requirements.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution required.
- Licensed or certified in the endorsed area by the State of North Carolina as provided by law.
- Legible copies of college transcripts showing degree earned and license in the endorsed area by the State of North Carolina (PDF format).
- Background check with local and state law enforcement agencies required.
