Job Summary
Technology Intern role involves assisting technology technicians with daily tasks to support summer projects, including replacing, upgrading, and troubleshooting computer labs, Chromebooks, Windows laptops and desktops, network equipment (switches, wireless access points, wiring), VOIP phones, paging systems, and Cleartouch boards. Requires effective communication, finger dexterity, and ability to perform physical tasks (kneeling, lifting, reaching, etc.), plus ability to work with staff and maintain professional teamwork. Background check with local and state law enforcement agencies is required.
Required Qualifications
- Current high school student enrolled in the Academy of Information Technology
- Ability to perform multiple tasks associated with technology upgrades and replacements
- Strong interpersonal skills for effective verbal communication
