Job Summary
Build leadership among staff and administration to foster shared ownership of the school's vision. Make core content engaging by aligning instruction with common core standards and 21st-century literacy skills in global awareness, economics, and civic literacy. Teach existing content while integrating technology and facilitating critical thinking, problem-solving, and ICT literacy. Assess student learning, promote teamwork, and collaborate with families and significant adults in students' lives. Adapt teaching for students with special needs and demonstrate ethical principles of honesty, integrity, and respect. Perform other duties as assigned while serving as a role model for continuous quality improvement.
Required Qualifications
- A four-year degree from an accredited institution
- NC certification in assigned area of teaching
- Current Certified Teachers
- NC Teaching License or other current license
- Bachelor's transcripts
- official transcript for all degree levels

- legible copy of original foreign transcript
- copy of official Evaluated Transcript from reputable company
- copy of the Social Security Card

- Must be able to physically perform the basic life operational functions of kneeling, sitting, walking, stooping, reaching, lifting, pushing, pulling, talking, seeing, hearing, and repetitive motion
