Job Summary
Custodian I performs cleaning duties in school buildings under supervision, including stripping, sweeping, scrubbing, mopping, waxing, and windows/fixtures care; handles furniture moves, carpet care, restroom replenishments, litter removal, and routine reports of damages. Requires physical strength for lifting and climbing, ability to follow instructions, and possession/maintenance of a CDL bus license to drive a bus when needed. Attends training and adheres to cleanliness standards and safety regulations while supporting campus operations.
Required Qualifications
- Must obtain and maintain a CDL Bus license and drive a bus when called upon to do so.
- Must possess a valid North Carolina Driver's License.
- Applicants must be able to obtain a Commercial Driver's License (CDL) when requested for purposes of driving a school bus.
