Job Summary
Manage the ServiceNow CMDB data model and ensure data integrity by preventing Configuration Item duplication and automating population via ServiceNow Discovery. Collaborate with solutions architects and monitoring teams to validate data alignment with the application roadmap and establish communication channels for reporting on service performance and incidents. Maintain high security standards, address Cl compliance issues through health dashboard monitoring, and conduct regular instance health checks to optimize performance. Ensure the CMDB supports critical incident and change processes while staying updated with ServiceNow features to enhance capabilities.
Required Qualifications
- Must be able to work from the Oshawa location after oct 2025
- Proficiency in managing and configuring the ServiceNow platform, particularly the CMDB module
- Strong knowledge of data management practices, including data quality, data integrity, and data modeling and CSDM data model
- Experience with ServiceNow Discovery ITOM and other Discovery tools such as Dynatrace, understanding on how attributes are digested into the CMDB and Device classes
- ITIL 4.x Certification is a Must (valid certification)
- ITIL certification is essential as it provides a framework for IT service management and ensures best practices in managing the CMDB
