Job Summary
Stock and stockist role in a retail environment responsible for pulling, stocking, and rotating dry, frozen, and refrigerated goods; manage transfers, price changes, and signage; assist customers with merchandise recommendations and cross-merchandising; maintain display aesthetics, assist in promotions, operate POS as needed, and comply with safety and manual handling requirements. Emphasizes product knowledge, customer service, teamwork, and the ability to lift 50 pounds regularly, work shifts including Fridays/Saturdays, and to follow company policies and OSHA standards.
Required Qualifications
- high school diploma or GED
- retail sales and stocking experience preferred
- ability to lift up to 50 pounds regularly and up to 100 pounds occasionally
- ability to work various shifts including Fridays or Saturdays
- ability to read, comprehend, write simple instructions
- valid certifications may include Food Handlers Permit and/or TABC Beverage Sellers Permit where applicable
