Job Summary
The Maintenance Associate is responsible for ensuring the facility is well-maintained, safe, and clean. Duties include performing routine repairs, general upkeep, and maintaining cleanliness of the building. Key responsibilities involve cleaning facilities, minor repairs, inventory management of maintenance supplies, and ensuring safety and security of the premises. Applicants must have a high school diploma or GED and experience in janitorial work.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Criminal Record Certification and free of criminal convictions of crimes against children
- Completion of CAO Employment application
- NYS SCR Clearance Form with acceptable clearance
- Fingerprinting required
- Must pass physical examination
Desired Qualifications
- Experience in janitorial work
- Ability to solve problems
- Basic knowledge of carpentry, plumbing, and electrical systems
- Basic computer skills
