Job Summary
Operate filling equipment and make minor machine adjustments in the liquid pouch production area. Perform packaging duties including making corrugated boxes, packing finished merchandise, sealing cases, labeling, and placing cases on pallets. Monitor machine scrap, react to visual board information, and ensure accurate hourly machine counts. Clean and rinse equipment during changeovers, assist with machine start-ups, and maintain a clean work station. Call out defects and adhere to quality standards while contributing improvement suggestions to facility success. Work the second shift from 3:00 PM to 11:00 PM Monday through Friday in our Mason, Ohio plant producing portion-sized condiments.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Available to work all shifts including second- third & weekends and holidays
- Ability to lift and carry 25 – 50 lbs on a regular basis
- Outstanding attendance record
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to call out defects and adhere to Quality standards
- Ability to stay cool and calm under pressure and balance changing priorities with ease
- Focus on safety with a history of practicing safe work habits
- Positive- team focused attitude
- Achieve qualified score on job skills assessment
Desired Qualifications
- Prior experience in a manufacturing environment
- Experience in a GMP/regulated industry
