Job Summary
Provide hands-on assistance with Activities of Daily Living (ADL) and Instrumental Activities of Daily Living (IADL) per each client's care plan, including bathing, dressing, transferring, toileting, incontinence care, and meal preparation. Duties include following the client’s care plan, assisting with medication management, and ensuring safe, compassionate care. Requires caregiver experience (minimum 1 year preferred), ability to lift/move patients with proper body mechanics, valid driver’s license, proof of auto insurance, reliable transportation, and to pass a criminal background and fingerprint check. Strong communication with seniors and dependable reliability are essential. Training provided; flexible full-time scheduling in the Portland, Oregon area.
Required Qualifications
- Caregiver with at least one (1) year of caregiver experience
- Ability to lift, move or assist patients using proper body mechanics
- Must have valid Driver's License, proof of current auto insurance
- Must have reliable transportation
- Ability to pass a criminal background and fingerprint check
- Ability to communicate effectively with seniors
- Must be reliable and dependable
