Job Summary
Head Boys Soccer Coach responsible for building a culture of hard work and sportsmanship, mentoring student-athletes, integrating mental performance and character education, and leading the program in alignment with WIAA policies and district procedures. Duties include demonstrating coaching skills, setting goals for the season, staying current with techniques through clinics and reading, modeling nondiscriminatory conduct, ensuring safe fundamental techniques, adhering to the Athletic Code and ethics, organizing practice sessions, coordinating with the Athletic Director on special duties and equipment, and communicating for eligibility reporting and transportation. Emphasis on student-athlete development, safety, and community involvement within the Greater St Helens League.
Required Qualifications
- High School diploma or equivalent
- Finger printing for Washington State Patrol and FBI inquiry
- Valid first aid and CPR certificate (expiration date at least one year from date of hire)
- Certificate of attendance for an HIV/AIDS and Hepatitis B in-service provided by the district
