Job Summary
Oversee the 21st CCL site by supervising staff, ensuring compliance with Bright From The Start requirements, and delivering academic instruction, tutoring, and STEAM projects for over 3,000 children. Facilitate all academic sessions as the lead instructor while developing age-appropriate lessons and assessment tools to document progress. Monitor site operations to maintain high service levels, collect and submit required data reports, and implement wellness checks to enforce safety protocols. Collaborate with youth, parents, and school teachers to ensure effective academic sessions and partner with the After School cabinet on activities. Maintain all required certifications including CPR and First Aid, and report incidents or accidents in a timely fashion.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree
- Georgia Teaching Certificate
- At least 21 years of age
- Minimum of 2 years' experience in working in extended day programming
- Required certifications, Teaching Certificate
- Ability to obtain working knowledge of 21st CCLC requirements
- Working knowledge of computers: MS Word, MS Excel, data base management
- Ability to pass a pre-employment background check including Criminal Record check, Drug Screening, motor vehicle record (MVR) and reference check
- Must be legally eligible to work in the US without current or future sponsorship
- CPR within 30 days of employment and maintain throughout employment
- Ability to lift up to 25 pounds
Desired Qualifications
- A minimum of 2 years' experience in working with in Title 1 schools preferred
